About The Confident Carer Service

The Disability Resource Centre runs The Confident Carer Service. This service is completely dedicated to unpaid Carers living, or working, in Luton.

We employ two peripatetic Carer Support Officers who are taking the service out to different venues across Luton, and are visiting Carers in their own homes and local venues.

We aim to make a real difference to Carers, including those who may be

• Carers in distress
• Carers who cease Care responsibility
• Carers with changing circumstances
• Carers who need advocacy
